Khao Pad Sapparod (Pineapple Fried Rice)

A tropical dish invented by the Chinese people living in Thailand. This dish is a medley of rice, vegetables, prawns, nuts, curry powder, and of course, pineapple. Creating an array of flavours to suit any palette.

You can usually see this dish served in a hollowed out pineapple (although we find it easier to eat it from a plate).This dish inspired Disney to create a short animation about the origins of the dish. (link below)
